Description

This is an original 1970’s ABC Cycle Sleeper completely redone about 3 years ago. Has a new canvas complete with skylight and screened porthole windows. Original canvas included and would be useable with a few minor repairs. All of the wood was replaced with marine grade plywood and the bottom exposed areas have been covered with fiberglass board to prevent any rot! Also has a skirting that goes around the bottom to enable a space heater to be placed under the trailer for cooler nights. Will sleep two, but perfect for one! Easily holds a twin air mattress. Plenty of storage while it is in tow for blanket, clothing, camping gear etc. Has a cooler rack up front with tie down loops. This trailer is so lightweight you could almost haul it with a bicycle! Tongue weight is less than 10lbs and the entire trailer around 200lbs! Easy to maneuver by one person when un/hitching. Title in hand and it is ready to camp! Designed for a motorcycle (HAS swivel hitch) but perfect for a small car. There aren’t too many of these still out there so don’t miss your chance to own a piece of camper history! VW’s and vintage camping gear not included, although I likely have some camping gear you might be interested in and it could be purchased for the right price! Would be perfect for Sturgis Motorcycle rally or the kayaker/mountain biker/hiker/trailer runner just needing an easy set up for the weekend! Fiberglass box when closed is 40″ long, 48″ wide and 16″ deep. Lid when open is 65″ from ground at tallest point. Taillights to hitch measures 72″ and bed when extended is 72″ long X 42″ wide. Cooler shelf is 16″ X24″. Has T-handle locking closure with keys. If the item is still up and not marked pending or sold it is STILL available! Pick up north side of Bloomington, Indiana
